A young woman in the inception of the third decade of her life, her love, her wisdom, her passion, the way she interprets life, things that changed her, moments that made her were not just what we could feel when we read her poems.

But we also could feel a part of us that longed-for those emotions, the words that we always wanted to say but we never said, the hellos and goodbyes of life the way it was supposed to be, and the places and people we have been and meet and the way it changed a large part of our life.

How impactful is this book? It made my teenage cousin who never read any books and never showed an interest in reading, sit a couple of hours on his couch, open up his dictionary for the first time, and never move until he finished the book.

Once he finished the book, he stood up, walked here and there. I could see in his eyes Dikshita’s poetry just triggered some emotions and moments in him and he is finding it hard to process it.

Later that evening he said to me, “Maybe breakups are okay”, and turned back to the TV.

When a poem makes a teenager feel Breakups are Okay, then it’s for sure has some divine spell in it. Dikshita’s divine spell just healed someone and helped them make peace with their past.

When she said “Your dreams to fly could be new, but it’s the same old sky”, it made me question the customs, the conservative principles, and the belief system we are surrounded by. When she said “Death awaits somewhere,….” it made me realize too much drama doesn’t matter anyway so take things lite.

We can’t just shrink and call what she wrote poetry, these are a set of guidelines to process your memories and emotions in the right way, so that you could make peace with your past, admire the present, welcome a beautiful future, and live a life without fear.

She admires the most, the people who hold their dreams in their pockets, and as we read through it she just gives us hopes to dream again, to live again, and to love again.

Let’s fall and fly, in short, A Beautiful Experience.
